To perform this job effectively, a well-qualified candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a facility with financial modeling concepts and practice, display executive presence with strong written and verbal communication skills, enjoy collaborating with a range of business partners to develop and achieve shared objectives, and foster a productive team work environment that promotes continuous learning and development. Curiosity and adaptability are also important traits to succeed in a continuously evolving financial and regulatory environment.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E \u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe AT-BSM reports to the Corporate Treasurer and manages about half of the approximately fifty professionals employed in Corporate Treasury. The AT-BSM partners with the VP, Assistant Treasurer - Corporate Funding, who manages the company\u0027s wholesale funding execution, investment and derivatives portfolio and cash management activities, and works closely with the company\u0027s line-of-business CFOs to meet the company\u0027s financial targets while appropriately managing related capital, liquidity and interest rate risk.\u003C/p\u003E \u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E \u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EResponsibilities: \u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEstablish policies, frameworks, and limits and develop strategies to manage risks and maintain a strong balance sheet that positions the company for profitable and sustainable growth.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ELead business advisory efforts on balance sheet matters and partner with Corporate Planning to develop strategic and operating plans for the optimal deployment of capital and liquidity resources.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDirect capital, liquidity and interest rate risk management activities, including forecasting, stress testing, target setting, and contingency scenario planning.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EOversee the development of diversified and cost-effective funding plans and transfer pricing of the funding costs to provide proper incentives to the business units and a view on business unit profitability/margins.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMonitor regulatory developments and rating agencies\u0027 expectations on matters of capital, liquidity and market risk, proactively addressing issues and leading discussions with senior management, the board, and external stakeholders on related topics.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EManage, mentor, and develop employees to drive sustainable engagement and high performance.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E \u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ERequirements: \u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EBachelor\u0027s degree required, preferably in finance, economics, accounting or a related field. Master\u0027s degree and/or CFA charter preferred.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E10\u002B years of relevant leadership experience in capital planning and liquidity risk and interest rate risk management.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EBank treasury or related risk management experience preferred, especially prior experience interacting with bank regulators and compliance personnel (second and third lines of defense).\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EKnowledge of regulations and guidelines related to capital planning, stress testing and liquidity and interest rate risk management.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProven ability to lead high-profile and time-sensitive projects while partnering with business units to develop and achieve shared objectives.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EExcellent verbal and written communication skills, especially the ability to communicate complex and technical concepts to a senior-level audience.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EExperience with QRM, statistical computing software and/or computer programming is a plus.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E \u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E #LI-KB1 \u003C/p\u003E \u003Cp\u003E The same way we treat our employees is how we treat all applicants - with respect.
